Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, better known by her stage name Sia, is an Australian singer/songwriter who began her career in a local acid jazz band, Crisp, in the 1990s.
After members of Crisp parted ways the vocalist released her first solo album, OnlySee, and then moved to London, England to lead vocals for the British act Zero 7.
In 2000, Sia signed to Sony Music's Dance Pool label and released her second album, 'Healing is Difficult'. Sia was unhappy with the promotion involved with this release and the following release 'Colour the Small One', and decided to move to New York City to travel and tour across the US.
Between the years of 2008 and 2016, Sia released 4 more albums, 'Some People Have Real Problems', 'We Are Born', '1000 Forms of Fear', and 'This Is Acting', the latter two producing the top ten singles, 'Chandelier' and 'Cheap Thrills'. Sia also found charted success collaborating with artists David Guetta and Flo Rida.
