Meghan Trainor is an American singer/songwriter and record producer, born December 22, 1993 in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
During her teenage years she wrote and produced several albums independently, and in 2011 signed a publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music, pursuing a career in songwriting. In 2014, after signing a record deal with Epic Records, Trainor put herself on the map with her label debut, 'Title'. The album debuted at number 1 and produced 3 top singles, 'All About That Bass', 'Lips Are Movin', and 'Like I'm Gonna Lose You'.
Trainor released her second studio effort, 'Thank You' in 2016, with it's lead single 'No' peaking at number 3 on the US Hot 100.
