Florida Georgia Line is an American country music duo consisting of singers Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard.
Both vocalists gained an interest in music through church worship services, and met in 2008 through that shared interest in a church worship group.
They moved in together, working small jobs and playing night clubs on weekends while writing music in their spare time, and when playing a county fair linked up with Nickelback producer Joey Moi. The two released two EP's between 2010 and 2012, 'Anything Like Me' and 'It'z Just What We Do', and gained serious attention once their single 'Cruise' aired on satellite radio station 'The Highway'. Their first studio album 'Here's to the Good Times' was the 6th best-selling album of 2013, topping artists like Drake and Katy Perry, and their main single from the album titled 'Cruise' holds the records for best-selling country digital song of all time,
and the longest spot at number 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart since its inception in 1944. From 2014 to 2016, the group released their second album, 'Anything Goes', featuring the number 1 single 'Confession', and were the first country artist ever to receive the Digital Diamond Award for 'Cruise' after crossing the 10x platinum mark. The duo is set to release their third studio album effort, 'Dig Your Roots', on August 26, 2016.
