     DNCE is an American pop rock band lead by Joe Jonas, formed in 2015 with close friend Jack Lawless.
After a search for a fourth member ultimately put Cole Whittle into the mix, the group performed shows in New York City to prepare for upcoming tour and to promote the band's debut.  Their first single, 'Cake By The Ocean', was released on September 18, 2015. The track peaked at number 9 on the US Hot 100, and was successful in numerous regions once its momentum picked up.  In October 2015, the group released their first EP, 'SWAAY' to positive reception. DNCE embarked on a 14 date sold-out tour in 2015, and are set to release their debut studio effort in the fall of 2016 under Republic Records.
