B.o.B.(birth name Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr.) is an American hip hop artist and record producer from Decatur, Georgia. Simmons was first discovered by Brian Richardson, an event that would eventuate his signing to Rebel Rock Entertainment and then a joint record deal with Atlantic and Grand Hustle Records 2 years after.
B.o.B made his commercial debut in 2010 with the international chart-topper 'Nothin' On You'. The track sealed in future potential on the charts and made B.o.B. a fresh household name. His next few releases such as 'Airplanes' and 'Magic' returned B.o.B. to the top of the charts once again. His debut album, the double-platinum certified 'The Adventures of Bobby Ray' was released in 2010, the same year he was ranked ninth 'Hottest MC in the Game' by MTV. B.o.B. released 'Strange Clouds' in 2012, a fruitful album bearing four major chart hits. 'Underground Luxury', his third album, was released in 2013. GIn late 2015, B.o.B released his fourth album 'Psycadelik Thoughtz' suddenly and with almost no promotion. The rapper has been criticized recently for claiming that the earth is flat.
